Art In The Cathedral / Visions Of Utopia
30 artists from around the country have produced works on the theme 'Visions of Utopia'. These will be exhibited in COCA Gallery, 66 Gloucester St from August 10th, to be auctioned on Thursday September 2nd at COCA. Entry is free. Wine and nibble are supplied. The auctioneer for the evening is Phil McGoldrick.

Tricks of the Trade

Volunteering Canterbury is pleased to be able to offer this Not-for-Profit Management Short Course in association with Unitec. This course will provide participants with the essential skills to design and deliver effective training sessions for staff (volunteer and paid) or clients in the not for profit sector. The Beatitudes: God’s Peculiar People Latimer Women’s Conference

The 9th annual St Peter’s plant and garden sale is coming up. We have a great array of plants for your flower and vegetable gardens, including hostas, Asiatic lilies, perennials, ground covers, rockery, bulbs, natives, small shrubs, vegetables, herbs, fruiting plants, etc, all lovingly potted and raised by members of the parish. Pots, tools and other garden items are also for sale. This has been an extremely popular sale over the years so come early for the best selection.
All For Life Conference

This Conference is for anyone who is interested in working to promote a Culture of Life in NZ.

Music Summer School
9-17 January 2011, Royal School of Church Music, Hamilton
A residential school for people interested in church music and will especially cater for singers and organists, for adults as well as secondary and tertiary students. Director of the school will be Timothy Noonan, director of music at the Cathedral of Christ the King, Liverpool, England. Others taking part are Peter Lord Cowell, Paul Ellis,Stephen Rowley, Rachael Griffiths-Hughes and Philip Smith.
