1. Installation of the Rev’d Helen Roud as Vicar, Parish of Linwood

Sunday, 19 August, 7.00pm, St Chad’s Linwood (cnr Buckleys Rd & Carnarvon St)

Clergy are warmly invited to robe (the liturgical colour is white), join the procession, and participate in this service.

2. CANCELLED: Diocesan Quiz for Missions

Saturday 18 August, 10.30am - 3.00pm, St Peter's Upper Riccarton

3. September Synod: Notice of Elections

In addition to those notified in the Synod mailout, the following elections are required at Synod:

Diocesan Nominators

Three clergy (holding a Bishop’s Licence) and three laity
• clerical members elect clergy nominators and
• lay members elect lay nominators,
acting as an electoral body, not as Synod.

Current members are
• the Rev’d Jacqui Stevenson, the Rev’d Canon Susan Baldwin, the Rev’d Jay Behan; and
• Mrs Lyndsey Sturge, Mr Phil Trotter, Dr Corin Murfitt.
