Church Property Trustees have comprehensive insurance cover which includes Business Interruption Insurance (increased cost of working). Business Interruption Insurance extends to all Parishes within the Diocese and may be available for up to two years.
· reasonable extra costs required to keep your parish operating following loss of or damage to parish buildings (such as extra rent at a temporary alternative location).
· you can no longer use your premises because they have been destroyed
· you can only partially use your premises because an adjacent property has been damaged
· there is damage to your power, gas or water supply
· The application of Business Interruption Insurance will differ from Parish to Parish depending on your circumstances. Your case will need to be considered by our property manager Liz Clarke before being approved/declined by our insurer.
