2026 is the third year of the 56th Synod of the Anglican Diocese of Christchurch. Synod 2026 will be the fourth session of the 56th Synod, as two sessions were held in 2024. Synod members will be elected or re-elected at parish AGMs in 2027, for the following three-year term.

Information will be added as it becomes available in the leadup to Synod
- 3 Sept—Synod Eucharist at the Transitional Cathedral (at 7pm—please arrive early to get seated).
- 4-5 Sept—Synod at St Christophers, Avonhead. Sign in commences at 8.30am with sessions commencing at 9.00am.
