Keen to try?
If you are keen to try live streaming or video posts, but don’t know how, below are some resources to help.
- A great blog post about “What is the meaning of ‘online church’?” by Theologian Ian Paul of psephizo.com
- Livestreaming is available through Youtube and is easy. Here is a tutorial on how to set this up.
- Get.Tithe.ly is a website to help churches get financial, but it also has a great post on getting virtual and live streaming in the Coronavirus age. The tutorial is written by Paul Maxwell and is called: Coronavirus Toolkit for Pastors and Church Leaders. Of course, they promote their app first, but skip past that and look at the other platforms you can use.
- Techguru77 has a video tutorial on live streaming via Youtube from start to finish.
- If you’re desperate for some friendly advice, email editor@anglicanlife.org.nz and we can send you some local contacts.
