AAW Social Concerns/Overseas & Outreach Roadshow in South Canterbury

Time: 11am-2pm
Social Concerns: 11am-noon in the Church. Hear Jan and Alexia from Anglican Advocacy South Canterbury highlight their work:

• Advocacy and supporting the community—a one-to-one advocacy role
• Grief influences our way of being—Alexia explains her role with Oceans helping with the challenges that ignoring and denying grief has.

Lunch: 12 noon-1pm. Shared finger food lunch in the hall

Overseas and Outreach (O&O):
1-2pm back in the Church.

• Anne McCormick, our Diocesan O&O Convenor, will talk about the work of the Light of Hope Legacy in Cambodia.
• Raewyn Dawson will give an update about the 2025 NZAAW O&O project that has been raising funds for emergency equipment in Fiji.

Bonus: The much-acclaimed Pandora’s Op Shop (but cash only thanks) is on site—so people can browse before or after the event. (Op. Shop: 10am-3pm)
