Book launch: The Judas Prayers

This collection of prayers is in reaction to experiences – personal, of friends, and the society in which we live.

The Christian life follows the teaching to “Love one another as I have loved you”.

But in the events of the first Maundy Thursday, we also see the hand of Caiaphas, Judas, and Pontius Pilate – treachery, betrayal and a lack of moral responsibility. These factors are still what cause most human misery.

Hence the title of this book, “The Judas Prayers- Prayers for tough times”. We all have to live through some difficult times.

We often feel betrayed by others, by ourselves or even by God.

Despite the chaos and pain we are in, our loving Lord still holds out His hand to us.
