Rural Ministry Day
Lay and ordained members of rural parishes are invited to a pre-Synod rural ministry day in Darfield, facilitated by Ven. Indrea Alexander, Diocesan Rural Ministry Encourager.
Through speakers and workshops of collective wisdom we will consider:
How to create meaningful rural imaged worship – Rural chaplaincy – Engagement with rural communities – Connecting with local rural publications and organisations – Learnings from the International Rural Churches’ Association recent Oceania conference in Fiji – Part-time ministry in the face of full-time needs – Responding to social need – Engaging in mission and much more.
There will also be opportunity to share resources, build connections, and to be affirmed and encouraged in the vital ministry we offer.
