Tuesday Table course: Reforming England

21 July, 1:00 pm NZST

What kind of Reformation did England have? How did it compare and relate to the experience in Continental Europe? Was it all really just about a messy divorce? Does any of this matter to us here in Aotearoa New Zealand?

This short four-week course looks at the history of the English Reformation, its relationship to other reform movements and the development of the Book of Common Prayer. We ask some “what if?” questions and think about how we see the influence of this period in our churches today.

Our Tuesday Table courses require no previous experience or preparation. Just bring your questions and curiosity. Feel free to bring your lunch along if you’re ducking out during your lunch break.

Runs for 4 weeks from 21 July. 1pm-2pm Tuesdays.
