Safe Ministry & Boundaries Professional Development
Attending a Safe Ministry and Boundaries Training is a condition that all personnel holding a bishop’s licence or Permission to Officiate in the Christchurch Diocese. This has been previously known as ‘Safe Ministry Training’ and ‘Boundaries Training’. Attending a workshop at least once every 3 years is required for a licence to remain current.
This year, we have the Reverend Jemma Allen who will be leading workshops for our Diocese. She is a priest from the Diocese of Auckland and currently practises as a counsellor and spiritual director. Jemma has a wealth of experience, having been a university chaplain and worked in parishes in Waikato, Auckland, and Beijing.
Join us for an opportunity to talk about intricacies of ministry, covering topics such as:
- How do we keep ourselves and others safe in the context of ministry?
