Woodend/Pegasus is the newest Parish in the Diocese with a mission to reach out to the new town of Pegasus and the Beach settlements of Woodend and Waikuku.

Our service time is 9.30 a.m every Sunday morning - Eucharist and All Age Worship on the fourth Sunday of the month.

We have a wonderful Community garden at the back of the church - this assists our own Parishioners and provides the means to make soup. pasta sauces plus provides fresh vegetables for the emergency meals which are distributed from the church along with groceries.

We have a growing Ministry to young families through Mainly Music - Wednesday 10 a.m.

Although worship has been celebrated in the hiistoric church of St Barnabas for 150 years we will celebrate our first anniversay as a Parish on Back to Church Sunday September 12th.

Anyone who has any links with St Barnabas is most welcome to join us.
