Christ Church Cathedral Reinstatement Limited

As a direct neighbour and valued stakeholder of the Christ Church Cathedral Reinstatement Project, we are letting you know about some upcoming activity at the eastern end of the Christ Church Cathedral site.
What:
Placement of cranes on-site, ahead of the removal of the steel framing in front of the Cathedral (western porch) in January 2019.
This will involve a crane temporarily on-site on 11 December 2018 (to unload equipment), and the delivery of a larger crane on 13 December 2018, which will remain on-site for at least a month. We don’t anticipate any traffic implications, but there may be some truck movements on 11, 13 and 14 December.
When:
Tuesday 11 December 2018 – temporary crane and equipment on-site.
Thursday 13 December – main crane delivered on-site and preparation works for steel removal.
January 2019 – removal of steel framing.
